30,000 Word Challenge – Day 6

Flawless Victory this evening. 3,461 words, bringing my total for the challenge so far to 18,004 in six days.  Sweet.

This evening was all SciFi Thriller.  I really should come up with a title for it, considering I’m got over 15,000 words written toward it now.  I got a couple very cool scenes done.  Very pivotal moments in the book, the ones that really get the ball rolling.  So that’s cool, especially since I wasn’t entirely sure how I was going to pull it off until I did it.  Gotta love it.

So….yeah.  That’s it for now.  I’m going to watch some Star Trek and then hit the sack.

🙂

  1. Excellent result! I am working on the same timeframe, though the overall goal is an 80-day goal around ROW80 but I’m over 18K in six days as well. I’ve had two 5K+ days and two 2,500ish days but, hey, it’s the average, eh? It’s an awesome feeling! Watching someone else do it, too, helps me realise that it’s not just a fluke. It *can* be done. I need to get to 120K, I think, and it seems far closer at 67K than it did at 50K! Thanks for being there and sharing your results! Way to go!

    • It’s pretty fun to have a concrete goal and work toward it, isn’t it? Especially when the goal is challenging. It sure beats flailing around aimlessly. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Goosd luck on your project!
